Business Continuity Plan
Siemer & Associates’ Business Continuity Plan Disclosure
Siemer & Associates (“S&A”) has developed a Business Continuity Plan (“BCP”) as part of our ongoing contingency planning efforts to mitigate the impact of business interruptions. Since the timing and impact of disasters and disruptions is unpredictable, we will have to be flexible in responding to actual events as they occur. With that in mind, we are providing our clients with this information on our business continuity plan.
S&A’s plans to quickly recover and resume business operations after a Significant Business Disruption (“SBD”) and respond by safeguarding employees’ lives and firm property, conducting a financial and operational assessment, protecting the firm’s books and records, and allowing our clients to transact business as usual. In short, our business continuity plan is designed to permit our firm to resume operations as quickly as possible, given the scope and severity of the significant business disruption.
Our business continuity plan addresses: data back up and recovery; all mission critical systems; financial and operational assessments; alternative communications with customers, employees, and regulators; and an alternate physical location for S&A’s employees. Through the use of technology, S&A will be able to provide both electronic and voice communication, regardless of location.
S&A’s BCP is reviewed periodically and subject to modification without notice. Updates to the plan summary will be posted on the firm’s website (www.siemer.com).
Should there be any delay in providing you with promised work product, we will notify you as soon as possible, and provide you with an updated timeline and schedule. In all cases, we will work diligently to ensure there is little to no impact on the development and closing of your transaction.
